Maybe the Modern Man is also the last man standing. At this stage, it's anyone's guess. The question is: Are we progressing or regressing? I have catalogued a lot of data in my life and I'm pretty sure we aren't headed to Utopia anytime soon. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel with with Crayola drawing on medium weight acid-free paper. Original Jones Art has always been a keen observer. You can see a lot from the sidelines in northwest Austin, Texas.

Cool skilled drawing with the nice crayola effect , Charles ... I want to hope that more and more people are hip to the 3 card monte game ... but what to do ? seems with each generation there's more tightening of the screws ...less and less freedom. hope your day is going well : )

Artist Reply: I've been enjoying these monochromatic pieces, a little more finesse here, a little less there. Freedom starts between the ears and grows outward, I think. If you don't see the shackles then you delude yourself that you are free. People need to read more history with an eye toward actually learning something. Heaven forbid! Hope the week is progressing nicely for you. :)
