When I was a kid, we had some fights at the small rural school I attended. They were minor scuffles on average and were never, to my knowledge, taken off campus. Now school violence is so rampant, an incident must trump the worse of them to be newsworthy. What's wrong with this picture? And I'm not talking about my little sketch. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel with with a bit of Crayola on medium weight acid-free paper. Original Jones Art wonders why 'progress' has such a bad smell here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Clever one Charles : ) Never experienced school violence but I do remember the Kent State.shootings . Awful . And on that sad note I wish you a happy Sunday

Artist Reply: The big difference between Kent State and now is that those were university students not pre-k kids or slightly older. Everything changes, they say. I just wish it were for the better. Sunday has started out nicely. I hear kids playing across the street. :)
