Buxton Opera House
The Opera House was built in 1903 and designed by Frank Matcham, one of Britain's finest theatre architects.
Buxton, at 1514 feet above sea level, is the UK's highest Market Town.

Such a nice old building. You can see the Art Nouveau influence. Every little town has its opera house in Europe. In the US, it takes a major city to support an opera. I could easily paint this building, along with its architect, or perhaps a famous diva.Cathie Brock 01 Jun 2006
