The Prize at the End!!!

Annette Lake is a medium-sized, sub-alpine jewel, surrounded on 3 sides by mountain. Many beautiful lakes are defined like this, but each is exciting to see for the first time. We always like to soak in the peace and quiet, along with the beauty, for a few moments...then it's off to find just the right place for lunch. After lunch, we explore!! On this day, we met a retired couple who pointed out two mountain goats on the hillside across the lake. Too soon, the goats disappeared into the trees. The position of the sun made it difficult to photograph the whole lake, but it sure did feel good on the skin....like summer again!!! :)
