I used various images from some of my favorite pre-raphaelite painters. There's something about those images that really tugs on my emotions. I also enjoy the multilayered meanings and hidden symbols throughout their work. I tried to implement many myself in this piece with a similar approach. This piece is a narrative, but alot of information is left out. The piece will not reveal specifics. The viewer is confronted here with a powerful situation. Please let me know how you respond to this image.
