Barbaro & Mrs Jackson

Every day for eight and a half months the Jackson's brought him fresh hand picked grass from their farm. Mrs Jackson would hand feed it to him herself.

Two weeks ago today...it was for the last time.

How do you prepare
When you love someone this way
To let them go a little more each day?

Sad part is that when your beloved pet is gone you are pretty much on your own to deal with it ... Nice drawing, Laura. ~M

Touching work, makes me want to cry...I know how it feels, it seems there is no avenue one can travel to make the loss hurt less...only the hope that Christ gives and his comforting Holy Spirit. For he knew pain and was a man of sorrows as well as a healer. I am very moved by this work an dstory. God be with you. Sincerely CB

What a touching portrait for such a touching story. Even though this magnifcent horse is no longer with us, his spirit and the love that people have for him is still alive and strong.

Greg Joens 12 Feb 2007

A wonderful tribute. It is an amazing connection God gives us with animals. Somehow, even though they can not speak, they communicate in ways that touch the heart deeply.
