An Eye Or Two For Etiquette

The original piece was a black and white, but I thought it warranted a color version. I hope you agree. I used color gel pen mostly with a bit of w/c pencil in the sky. Image area is roughly 8 by 5 inches. This is Original Jones Art doing the curtsy in northwest Austin, Texas.

Have you ever seen a movie called "fantastic Planet?" Its a French Advante-gaurde animated film that was Cannes film festival winner of 1973. Your work is reminscent of that film, very chill and alien. Oh and thanks for the comment on my site, the ballerinas exhibit a stigmata because Christ died for us; though we are these brutal yet beautiful beings bent on our own destruction. It's a Christ reference

Artist Reply: I did see that movie, Sandra, about the time it was released. I think I'd like to see it again though, as I can now only dimly recollect much about it. I've always like animated films with an edge.
