I draw this beautiful Eagle Owl from a photo I took of some rescue birds in the Yorkshire Dales.

Artist Reply: Thank you for your kind words, I used Sennelier pastel card in sand, I mostly use sand, sienna and light blue, (I keep meaning to try the velour papers). I used a variety of pastels, but mostly sennelier, unison and daler-rowney. (The sennelier pastels vary greatly in texture, but I do use them throughout a drawing, I find unison great for large areas and the Daler-rowney good for finishing touches along with Senelier.
