This is a great piece of work even if i am used to cute provincial french doorways with solid color and sunfilled, straight rectangular frames. i like this shot, because it speaks of the modern, changing world.

Those textures are juicey. I can see why you wanted to photograph it. You can't beat a scabby doorway for inspiration is what my Mother always used to tell me before booting me out of one.
