Hey, do folks even use Roman numerals much anymore? Maybe they've gone the way of cursive writing and are even more of an anachronism than ever. If the Roman numeral bothers you, substitute the number 5. It allows me to show a progression of pattern without having to rack my brain for a clever title. You know, that's not always easy. This is a 6 by 4 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It's what Original Jones Art does to keep up with himself here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Another amazing piece. I still use Roman numerals as well as cursive - but then again, I'm just a relic now a days, lol. Your work and words always makes me think, when I see your work, I look within myself and contemplate. Isn't that what great art is supposed to do? Excellent job and words my friend.

Artist Reply: These small pieces almost create themselves as I sort of watch something on the rectangular screen near my work area, Rick. I'm currently watching a Polish series about monsters and demons. Hokum plain and simple but almost enjoyable if I don't focus too much on it. Ha. Thank you for your excellent comment(s.) :)
