Beauty so rare, so fine a work! But I believe it is a purple finch!
Artist Reply: I though so at first too, but from other shots I took, his wings are brownish. The pueple Finch has a white underbelly and kind of rasberry wings. Now I could be wrong and you could be right. I also have a shot of the female that was with him, but both Finch females have similar looks, so that's no help. anyone else know for sure?
