Skunk Cabbage in the Sun

This just seemed to glow in the sun as we past on a rustic footbridge. This area is very wet, mostly because of all the snowmelt at this time of the year. The snow in this surrounding area was about 2 ft. deep, but people before us had packed down the trail in most places. So the hike to this point wasn't to bad. It did get trickier as we went along, you will see in tomorrow's download.

Oh cool I captured some skunk cabbge at Olympic National Park too BUT I never posted it up yet, what a great setting from this photo the skunk sitting in a patch of mossy grass and the sun beaming down on it great composition!!!
