Beware of Brick Buffalo...!

Several years ago, the Rockwell Museum in Corning made some exterior renovations which included a buffalo charging through the brick wall on the second floor... Its eyecatching and well detailed and blends in with all the other brickwork there. They feature western art.

GREAT STORY AND PHOTO!

Artist Reply: Thanks Emily~ Corning was my old stomping grounds when I first moved away from NYC. You can walk the whole city in less than an hour..but it has its share of arts and music.Around the corner from the Rockwell is their historic Market St with ove 100 shops that are period maintained outside , all brick and stone storefronts, very quaint- with bistros and food stands and it is a sort of hub for art collectors and buyers as many of the store feature local artisans wares . The Glass Museum has many elegant hand craft glass ornaments and more as well.

Artist Reply: Thanks Lawrence! This was taken with my first little digital camera~ a Vivitar digicam from Walmart- a simple point and shoot camera.I live south of Corning & get up there once in a blue moon. This was taken in late Spring 2002 I think..:)
