Amsterdam. The base was a digital photo 640 x 480 Canon A1. The use of the Microsoft picture it programme produced this result. This programme does not just apply an effect. When applied, you can adjust the level of effect from 0 - 100, and watch what happens all the way, so that you complete control over what you are doing. I do not use Photoshop on principle as i find it over-priced, too complicated, and a "sledgehammer to crack a nut."

Very nice. It looks like a painting. Have you tried Corel Graphics 11? It does most of what PS does, some in a more convenient way, for half the price. You can get a thirty day free trial on the Corel website.
