Travelers Way

This oil painting was first roughed in with colour applied using a pallet knife, then paint applied with brushes for the finished piece of work. You might not be able to see them all but four birds are flying up the pathway. The light blobs in the bottom right hand corner are dandy lion seed heads, ready for a breeze to set them on their travels, or perhaps for you to blow on to tell the hour in the day. Oil on panel 30 x 17.5 inches.

Lovely, a modern day impressionistic painting, if there is such a thing!
