Here is some pertinent information for those of you who speak "ski". The resort covers 2,600 acres with unlimited out-of-bounds backcountry. The base is at 4,400 ft. elevation and the summit is 7,012 ft. There are 11 lifts and 57 named ski runs...the longest being 2.5 miles. I don't ski so the hiking trails are my favorite adventures here. This year has been bad for avalanches, so I haven't been snowshoeing yet and my husband just got his pair to join me when conditions are safer. I'm looking forward to the summer months when the runs are covered in subalpine flowers...my favorite time of year...when we will have a wedding ceremony on this sundeck. Nice, Huh... :)
