I FINALLY got around to finishing this piece. I've been working on this off and on for a while now. I had to set it aside for a few months due to school. Sorry for the pink overload on this piece! Anyway, here is Momi. She's another fursona of mine (I actually have 3 or 4, each with unique personalities). She is the "cute and girly" side of my personality. She mainly enjoys attention and feeling pretty, but not to the point of being self-centered or vain. =)

On a side not, I did the sakura blossoms entirely on my own. No tracing or anything. I did look at reference pictures though for the colors and shading. However, I think I messed up on them still. -_-" They don't look as much like sakura blossoms as I first thought. I wanted to go back and redo it, but I was getting tired. So, I'm not 100% satisfied with it. Ah well. It was still great practice. Especially in that I rarely draw flowers. =)

I feel that I've gained a lot from trying a different coloring method and that spending a lot of time on this also helped. Even though it tried my patients many times over. Hopefully I will do my best to turn continue to turn out higher quality works.
