Inspired by a 1969 photograph of my little sister and brother - taken at Uncle Don's Orchard in RI. Uncle Don used to drive the school bus in the little town where I grew up. I remember him as a little, gray-haired man with rosey cheeks and a heart of gold. He was everyone's Uncle. Visiting Uncle Don's Orchard was always a treat.

Excellent pencil work, Cindy. Wonderful capture of expression and I really like how you put most of the color on the petals instead of the children. Wonderful work!Crystal Basta 11 Sep 2006
