Mandarin Duck

Color Pencil. 12X16. Photo ref from North Carolina Zoo, used with permission. Winner of several awards at the PA Taxidermist's State Convention and Competition including "Best of Show, Wildlife Art" on 3/7/2009.

Marlene....you have talent! Tell the old man I want my job back! Been a good man for over 5 years! Either way, keep up the beautiful art.....you have been blessed with a talent that MANY cannot accomplish!

Lance told me about your duck. Congratulations on all your awards this past weekend. Lance said the Mandarin Duck was similiar to a wood duck but I can see from the picture he was being modest. Your work is fantastic and again, congratulations. Rick
