This 14"x17" pencil drawing of Grant is from a Mathew Bradey photo. I wanted to give this drawing a hard look. I did the entire drawing with a 2b and 4b pencil, using a hb for the back ground.

hard is what you got! He's one of my favorite presidents. Real...human...he trusted his people and some of them failed him bad...plus I was born on his Birthday which is coming up...4/27...nice pencil job.
