Joy

Acrylic on stretched canvas 8"x10" This little lady is Joy and she truly lives up to her name. She belongs to my cousin who lives in France. When I went to visit last fall, she was just a puppy and I fell in love with her. She is funny, whines if no one pays attention to her in cafes, wants to be near or around you, loves to play and has many quirks (like the time she sat on the dishwasher repair man's back while he was laying the floor working). She will also bark at the fireplace in the winter, if she sees no flames; the girl knows how to keep warm. She really is a Joy!

Oh how sweet! I just love Frenchies! You've really captured the wonderful little face here. Lovely color selection as well!

Artist Reply: I love Frenchies as well they are just so full of personality. The beach chair had a laid back and quirky air that I liked and it suited Joy to a T.
