You did a fantastic job here Wanda. I have only ever done more than one person on a drawing once and it took a tremendous effort. Everyone on this piece is in the right place and the right size, brilliant job, i'm impressed, well done:)

I love the softness ... the tenderness you've developed in creating a warm flow between these "Grand" children...be they siblings or cousins you've created a closeness not only in the natural but in the Heavenlies ...I wouldn't change a thing ...your work allows a connection to your subject and captures the esscence of the person...continue to nurture your Gift ...God Bless You Always !!!

Artist Reply: Thank you so much for your comments! Thank you also for calling it a "gift". I totally believe it is a gift from God. I prayed to be able to capture people on paper, and continue to pray to perfect the talent. I give God ALL the glory for each one of these portraits, I can do it only with Him!!!

i've always found it a pain in the pahtute to do composite portraits and it never occured to me to do it from cut photos. brilliant idea(doesn't take much to impress me i guess)but seriously.... great job. the only thing i would have changed would be to use a softer(and thus darker) lead on the irises. it just makes the eye's pop (and i don't mean out)and make the nostrals on the little one with the top knot slightly narrower. don't know if you do this but a great way to see if you've got everything in proper dimension is to flip your photo and your drawing up-side-down. the brain then only sees random patterns and not preconceived images of how the human face is supposed to look and lets you draw more acurately. keep up the great work.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much for your comments. I totally agree with the softer lead for the iris and I do use it, the flash on the camera is what lightens the eyes. It reflects off the darker graphite. I don't know how to correct that, so that when I take a picture it would keep the darker shades of graphite.
