Vickie..this would be a great picture to show people that dont think dogs have facial expressions...i think they do myself he looks almost like he just done something bad and knows he is in trouble in a way ,..or like he is admiring something,..mabye the goldfish? :)
I love the softness you have in your images, but I am going to give you a bit of advice that I got a while ago in rgards to my art. You ahve to create a bit of contrast between the darks and the lights. This image in particular requires a bit more contrast to give the feel of depth and overlapping parts. Hope that helps. But that baby, (Trinity) man oh man I am going to have to look at it again. wow.
